Paul Light is a pianist/organist for Angelic Ensemble. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of Staten Island in English Literature with an emphasis on Education and Music. Paul was the organist and music director of St. Mary’s Church in Staten Island, NY from 1981 to 2015. His duties included providing music for all the services at the church, directing the adult choir, and conducting two annual choral concerts. The “St. Mary’s Choir”, conducted by Paul, has recorded an album and also sung extensively throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. Paul has also taught music in a number of schools in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, conducting several children’s choirs and directing their schools’ musicals. He is currently director of Music and Liturgy at St. Charles Church on Staten Island.
